Tech Data, part of TD SYNNEX, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies to support the Dell AI Factory initiative in India. The programme aims to simplify the adoption of AI across industries by offering a range of solutions, services, and advanced hardware.

The partnership includes setting up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to display AI use cases and product demonstrations. The initiative will also collaborate with leading Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to provide pre-validated, end-to-end AI solutions that combine Dell’s hardware with specialised software. This integration will enable channel partners to address customer requirements and manage AI deployment more effectively.

Tech Data’s Destination AI programme will support the initiative by offering partners training, technical knowledge, and support throughout the sales process.

Sundaresan K., Vice President and Country General Manager of Tech Data Advanced (India) Private Limited, highlighted the partnership’s role in helping channel partners leverage India’s expanding AI market. He noted that the Dell AI Factory, alongside the Destination AI programme, would prepare partners to meet growing demand and deliver AI solutions.

Vivek Malhotra, Senior Director and General Manager, India Channels at Dell Technologies, emphasised the importance of the collaboration in providing a platform for channel partners to deliver customised AI solutions. He stated that the partnership combines Dell’s hardware expertise with tailored solutions, helping partners tackle industry challenges and explore new growth opportunities in AI.
