EDIMAX Technology launches a new Smart Plug Product SP-1101W for Intelligent Connected Home

BANGALORE: EDIMAX Technology, a leading smart-connected home and business solutions provider has launched the new Smart Plug product range and the first Smart Plug release: the SP-1101W Switch, which helps to make homes and modern lifestyles more dynamic. The switch plugs into any wall socket and gives users control to switch or schedule a connected electronic device on or off using a smartphone app, and features a slim, low-profile design.

The free Edimax Smart Plug home management app can monitor, control and schedule all the electronic devices connected to Smart Plug Switches. This helps to control and check the appliances remotely from the convenience of the smartphone, from anywhere.

Setup and installation is all done wirelessly and the Smart Plug Switch features an email notification function to keep up to date about power and appliance usage around home. The smartphone app works with iPhone, iPad & Android and the switch features helpful LED status indicators, on/off and reset buttons, upgradable firmware for future updates and tweaks and it is available now.
